  • In this report, both brokers and employers provide information about their use of social media for professional as well as personal purposes. It is based on the results of an online information exchange conducted in October and November, 2009 among more than 125 brokers and close to 75 employers. Additionally, both groups share feedback on the concept of an absence management product that would track employee leaves of absence, also sharing opinions about current absence management processes.

  • This report summarizes the results of a survey conducted online in May and June, 2009 among more than 150 brokers and close to 100 employers. These research participants provide information about their use of social media for professional purposes, and specifically, they react to the concept of participating in a social media site dedicated to benefits managers and brokers. In addition, brokers share their points of view on recent implementations they've experienced, and on recordkeeping services for non-medical employee benefits insurance.

Results are based on an online information exchange conducted in February, 2009 among more than 150 brokers and about 120 employers. Also, brokers share their reactions to the concepts of adding funeral services assistance to life insurance policies, and to executive carve outs, which are individually-owned policies targeted at highly-compensated employees.
