What will membership in NEBAF require from me?

There is no obligation or cost to be a member of NEBAF.

NEBAF will reach out to you about a number of information exchange opportunities throughout the year, and we hope that you will take the time to participate and share your views and experiences. Members can participate in as many or as few exchanges as they would like.

What is an information exchange?

A confidential on-line or telephone executive consultation, interview, or survey.

In general, active members spend less than an hour participating in these exchanges during the entire year.

Who is behind NEBAF?

PeopleMetrics is NEBAF’s primary sponsor. PeopleMetrics, a leading provider of business-to-business research to the financial services industry, is a frequent presenter at several leading market research and financial services industry events.

For more information about PeopleMetrics, visit its website at www.peoplemetrics.com.

What happens if I join NEBAF but I can’t participate in an information exchange at a specific time?

We understand that you’re busy. We hope that you will take part in every information exchange to which you are invited. But you may opt out of any particular exchange.

However, you will not be eligible to receive the specific report that is generated as a result of the exchange at the time of publication (although it will become available to the entire membership at a later date through our Library.)

Finally, if there is any financial incentive, such as a cash honorarium, an Amazon gift card, a best-selling business book, or a charitable contribution associated with a specific information exchange, you’ll miss the opportunity to earn that.

How did you get my name and why am I being invited to join?

You were selected as one of a small number of Employee Benefits professionals to be invited because of your experience in the benefits community.

We invite Employee Benefits executives, including Brokers, Consultants and Human Resources leaders who have come to our attention because of:

  • The company or company bases they serve,
  • Their experience (including tenure, industry, and specific product expertise), and
  • The range of benefits with which they have experience.

If you haven’t heard of NEBAF, we probably heard of you through:

  • Your prior conference attendance or presentation experience,
  • Information on file with various benefits providers and insurance carriers, and
  • Information from certain databases (such as Judy Diamond).
How do I know that joining won’t mean a lot more work, or just more spam?

PeopleMetrics (NEBAF’s primary sponsor) is committed to ensuring your complete comfort with and confidence in joining NEBAF. Therefore, PeopleMetrics will:

  • Not invite you to participate in NEBAF information exchanges more than five times per year.
  • Not require participation in any certain number of exchanges.
  • Maintain total confidentiality within each exchange, so that no other member knows your views on any topic under discussion.
  • Adhere to the highest ethical standards in gathering, using, and safeguarding customer information that is entrusted to us. Read more in our privacy policy.
  • Promptly follow up each dialogue with promised reports, incentives, and updates.
