  • This Briefing includes perspectives on the topic of expatriate benefits (i.e. employee benefits, including medical, dental, life or disability insurance for expatriates [or expats] who temporarily or permanently reside in a different country from where they are a citizen). Results are from an online survey taken by roughly 300 benefits brokers and consultants, as well as information gathered from a small number of employers interviewed. This exchange is a follow-up to a similar study conducted in December 2019 and January 2020.

  • This Briefing explores the concept of reputation, the importance of managing reputation, drivers of reputation, and current insurance carriers’ reputations. This report is based on a special information exchange conducted in March and April 2019, which was completed by roughly 300 brokers, 300 employers, and 800 members of the informed general public. In addition to NEBAF members, we invited members of the general public to participate in this exchange as well, and the report includes comparisons of responses across the three audiences.
